We will be contributing to the planning, funding, installation, and maintenance of existing, and new, public docks and facilities in and around the Creek in a public/private partnership of aligned interests with the City of Niagara Falls and various vested groups and authorizing agencies.

mission & vision
The Chippawa Public Docks Committee is committed to fostering a feeling of community through participation and involvement in the growth and the betterment of Chippawa.
We are always looking for volunteers to help out with our eventS throughout the year. For more information on volunteer opportunities contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
The Committee is composed of dedicated volunteers from the community who have a vested interest in the economic growth and betterment of Chippawa/Niagara Falls. Our goal is to improve and enhance the docks and adjacent parkland on the Welland River (Chippawa Creek) to provide greater public access for swimmers, boaters, walkers , runners and fishermen; serve as a platform for emergency services to stage water rescues; encourage long-term business investment; and, overall, lead to a more vibrant waterfront and village of Chippawa for the local community and tourists alike.
Our achievements include building the Front Street Dock and children’s playground in 2013, and working in partnership with the city of Niagara Falls to create new docks and a third boat ramp off Lyons Creek Road in 2015.
More recent initiatives include improvement of the existing docks and beautification of the parkland at the Lyons Creek Road site in 2015-16, and ongoing improvements to the Front Street Dock.
